Seton Lake outside Lillooet
2010-06-10
This picture does not do justice to the absolutely stunning colour of this lake. It was something I thought only came in plastic, but also apparently comes from glaciers. The colour of this lake prompted Jonathan to instruct his parents to retire to Lillooet. The town was a wonderful thing to arrive at: after the incredible Cayoosh Pass day, we relaxed in a big soaker tub in our hotel room, had a great big dinner at the local restaurant, and the hotel kindly did our laundry for us, free of charge. And we slept really really hard. Also, notice the change in climate here: suddenly we go from fluffy rainforest in the morning to arid scrub in the afternoon.
