It was Saturday in San Francisco, and everyone was out on Market Street. A line around the block to get into a famous burger joint. A column of placid looking christians, including some monks and a few banners proclaiming Jesus' love, heading along the walkway from the UN building, followed creepingly by a police car. A long line of homeless winding up to a food truck blasting old blues tunes. And this guy, marching to the sound of a drum, alongside polar bears and neon coloured foam fish, proclaiming the evil of oil dependence.
