Here's another Mongolian landscape. No recent photos right now as I am exhausted from a long conference day. It's a conference on "Discovery and Experimentation in Number Theory." My favourite sort of thing: just how many whole numbers a, b and c are there such that a^2 + b^6 = c^11, anyway? My exhaustion is actually in large part from the bicycle commute to work, which is between one and one-and-one-half hours depending on whether you're going up the mountain (to work) or down (home). And today it was due east at 7 am and due west at 6 pm: my eyes hurt.
