Ancient Sites
Frozen copies of my old websites, rescued from various servers (and in some cases the Wayback Machine) before their hosting disappeared. They are preserved as they were, dead links and all.
From the mists of time
- The Akhet-Aten Home Page — my site about Akhenaten, Nefertiti, and the ancient Egyptian city of Akhetaten (Tell el-Amarna), made when I was in high school.
- Swamp Life: The Turtle Soup Web Page — seven social misfits from North Bay, Ontario. Members only.
- A Mathematical Poetry Anthology — poetry collected from fourteen authors, from my graduate school days.
Old blogs and personal pages
- Kate’s Recipe Book — my recipe weblog (2010–2011).
- My photography weblog — approximately a picture-a-day, on some days.
- Kate’s Links — a TiddlyWiki of bookmarks.
- www.katherinestange.com — the old family site menu (bicycling, family, photos, travel).
- Proof of Concept — my old blog for math majors (succeeded by my Substack).
Cycling days
- Bike Racing 101 — an overview of collegiate racing in the ECCC I gave to new members of Brown’s racing team.
- My suggested cycling routes in Rhode Island — includes the famed Jones Boston-Providence Route.
- Beginner Cycling Safety for Group Touring — a minicourse I gave aimed at participants in Bike and Build.
